The Term 'Cyberpunk' is born
Science fiction editor Gardner Dozois is known to be the individual who began the use of the term ‘cyberpunk’. Gibson is known to have coined the word ‘cyberspace’ in his short story ‘Burning Chrome’ and the terms were later popularized with the concept.
