Developed by IBM in 1959, RPG was designed for business applications. It is an acronym for Report Program Generator. -
BASIC
It is a high-level programming language designed by John George in 1964. BASIC stands for Beginner’s All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. BASIC was designed to give small companies the chance to make their own applications because BASIC was simple and easy to use. -

Designed by Wally Feurzeig and Seymour Papert in 1967. Mostly used in education and remembered for the turtle graphics. -
