    Fair Labor Standards Act Section 14C happened on June 6, 1938. Equitable and equal wages to be paid to people with disabilities. The act was to remove the unjust for people with disabilities because the people who did not have a disability were making wages.

    Each child was to be treated equal no matter the disability. There was also accommodations and modifications for the students’ educational needs. This applied also to hospitals, offices, and upper higher education centers.

    November, 29, 1975, All funds that were taken in at the schools were to allow each student an education and a free meal to children with a disability. This was later known as the Individuals with Disabilities Act.

    This act was for children with disabilities and they received a free education. The students needed an appropriate evaluation to qualify for being disable. The children would have an Individualized Education Program that would help with goals and other developmental needs. Students would be placed in classroom based on their individual need. Parent would participate in decision-making. The parents and child would be protected and have information available upon request.

    This act applies to everyone even if a child with a disability is not in school. A person could not differentiate against people with a disability within everyday life activities. It was prohibited in employment, transportation, and all other services. A person with a disability had a fair opportunity.

    Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)-
    This act was authorized by President Obama in 2015. ESSA make sure students were learning and achieving academically. This also included making sure students were performing and making progress. This act was known as the No Child Left Behind Act in 2002.
