Tea Act
final straw in a serries of taxes made by Brittain on the colonies in an attempt to pay back their war debt.. The revot caused by this act ultimately ended in th Boston Tea Party. -
Boston Tea Party
A protest movement by the Sons of Liberty to protest the Tea act. The Sons of Liberty got onto a ship shipping in the equivalent of millions of dollars in tea today, and dumped it into the Boston Harbor. -
Intollerable Acts
A series of laws passed by the British to punish the colonists after the event of the Boston Tea Party. It took away Massachusettes self-government and historic rights. -
