Placed import taxes on tea, paper, glass, and coloring for paints. -
Tea Act
Law gave the East India Company the sole right to sell tea in the colonies. -
Boston Tea Party
A group of men tossed all the tea that the East India Company had in Boston. -
Intolerable Acts

- Massachusetts colonists were not allowed to have any town meetings without the permission of the Governor.
