This is the act of making accusations with out any evidence. Early in the world there were the salem witch trials and this would be a prime example of that, but in this case it would be used to say someone was a communist just because they didn't like baseball, hot dogs, or other stereotypical American things. -

The Korean war a conflict between the North and South half of Korea. China, the Soviet Union, and the United Nations took either a communist or a capitalist side when aiding the countries. -
Rock'N'Roll
The birth of Rock'N'Roll inspired a whole generation of rebellion. The height of what most people known as the rock genre of music was the 80's, with bands like Twisted Sister and Journey topping the charts. "We aren't gonna take it!"
