Which led to the secession of Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas. Which brought the threat of secession by four more, Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, and North Carolina. These 11 states formed the Confederate States Of America.

    When president Lincoln planned to send supplies to Fort Sumpter South Carolina feared a trick, Robert Anderson was asked to surrender immediantly. He offered to surrender after he got supplies but got denied on April 12. The civil war started when shots were hit on fort sumpter. Fort Sumpter was eventually surrendered to South Carolina.
