John Browns Raid on Harpers Ferry
Tried to led slave rebellion, but no one showed up so he ended up being trapped and eventually killed for treason. North saw him as a martyr and show saw him as a terrorist. -
Abe Lincoln is Elected as President
Abe won election without a single southern vote. South seceded for the US soon after he was elected. -
South Carolina secedes
They had already determined that if Abe Lincoln won the election they would leave the US. Other southern states followed their lead. -
Formation of the CSA
Leaders from 6 different seceded states put together a unified government. -
