the 13 amendment Abolished Slavery and created a sense of equality for African Americans. -
14th Amendment
Rights of citizenship, due process of law, and equal protection of the law. The 14th amendment has become one of the most used amendments in court to date regarding the equal protection clause. -
15th Amendment
it gave voting rights to African Americans -
Plessy v. Ferguson
case brought forth the supreme court by black lawsuits to fight against segregation being legal, but was ruled legal because it was “equal” -
19th amendment
an amendment which gave equal rights for citizens regardless of gender -
