Dred Scott vs Sandford
In the Dred Scott vs Sandford case, the judges ruled that African Americans are property and do not own the right to sue for there freedom. -
13th Amendment

Made all states let african americans vote. This also prohibited states from creating unfair tests to vote. -

This amendment gave equal rights to all citizens regardless of sex. -
