The U.S. Supreme Court approved laws requiring racial segregation. They were followed as long as those laws didnt allow for seperate accomidations.Espically for facilities for blacks that were inferior for whites -

This is a colored people organization. Its mission was to ensure the political,educational,social, and economic rights. Its name, retained in accordance with tradition, uses the once common term colored. -
ACLU
The ACLU is the American Civil Liverties Union. This is a non-profit nonpartistan organization. Thir mission is to preserve the individual rights. -

Rosa Parks was a normal African American until one day. Back then colored had to sit in the front and white in the back. But Rosa sat in the ack refusing to sit in front for her rights. -

After Rosa Parks had refused to move to the back of the bus she was arrested. This had triggered a lot of differnt african americans. That had causd a citywide boycott. history -

This was signed to law in 1965. It prohibits the denial or restriction for the rights to vote. And forbids discriminary voting practices. -

ADA is the Americans With Disabilities Act. This act protects many different disabled people from discrimination. Which can include employment, education, and differnt public access. ADA.gov -
FMLA
The FMLA is the family and medical leave act. It gives employees the right to take leave off work. This is only allowed if the employee is in care of a newborn.
