13th Amendment
The 13th Amendment is important because it was what abolished slavery. This is also important because it brought in the era of extreme racism. A fun fact is that Mississippi was the last state to approve it. -
14th Amendment
This amendment is important because it gave former slaves citizenship and equal protection under the law. This is important because it took a major step from counting slaves only as 3/5 a person to a full fledge citizen. -
15th amendment
The 15th amendment protected the right to vote for minorities. This is important because this was a major step in the Civil Rights process and would setup universal sufferage later on. -
