Born into a poor family in china. WE had heard of the land of opportunity and my parents had planned a plan to go, but passed away before it ever happened. So i plan to avenge their dreams and go myself. -
Boat Ride
we crossed the pacific ocean in 2 weeks and 5 days. its long and creepy. but it will fufull my parents desire. -
Arrival to angel island
We arrived with hundreds of other from my country. many i spoke with came for new jobs and opportunities. some even for a new religion. I was hopeing to find my brother here. So far no good. -
Doctrs examination
Took 2 days till doctors examination. they had allready separated boys and girls and have us in different dorms. The checked me eyes and other signs for illness. i got away healthy. -
Finding brother
My brother ironically was in the same line as we entered the country. We greeted and decided to start this journey together. its what mother and father would want from us. -
First job
I got a job at a fisherman. out of luck me and my brother are doing this together. this new land has given us opportunities and a new life. everythings has been going uphill from here. -
