- Isabel is at the house -Isabel meets a slave named Becky and she gives Isabel good advice. Isabel is showen around the house by Becky and Becky tells her where not to go.
- Isabel wants to see Ruth
- Madam Lockton is using Ruth as her personal slave 2.

Ch 5-6
- Arrives at NYC -Isabel takes the blame for Ruth and gets slapped on the face by Madam Lockton
- Isabel is sent to get water and she goes with a slave boy (Curzon) that shows her where the water station is.
- Curzon runs to the water station with Isabel -Curzon tells Isabel if she wants to spy on the Lockton because they are Loyalists. -If Isabel accepts and gives Curzon good secrets she will be reward her freedom. Isabel rejects him and goes to the house.

Madam and Mr. Lockton had their friends over
Ruth was crying in the corner and Isabel didnt know why
Mr. Lockton was talking politics with his friends -

Isabel late at night went to go see Curzon and was going to tell him everything she herd what the Locktons were saying
Isabel was scared because she knew all this was a crime (slaves where not allowed to be out at night or they will be arrested -

Bellingham and his men went to the Locktons to search for clues what Mr. Lockton is doing for the British
Mr. Lockton is arrested -

Tried in court- wont be killed but will be punished

Seymour gave Isabel food and her slaves cleaned her cloths

Isabel had to work realy hard
The British captured some of the American soldiers and put them in jail (including Curzon) -

Madam through a big dinner with important people from the British army -

Madam is invited to a house thats next to a prison
Isabel goes to that prison with food for Curzon
Isabel is so happy to see Curzon
Curzon was shot in the leg and seen things a man should never see -

The man from the book store tells Isabel to keep feeding the prisoners and to tell them that help is on the way -

Curzon is getting sicker
The cell mates are taking Curzons plankets and food
If Curzon dies Isabel is never coming back -

Madam is ordering Isabel around the house for Christmas
Isabel is supposed to have Christmas off but she continus to order her around
Madam tells her to stop hanging around the prison because she is disgressing the family
