  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
    The Proclamation of 1763 was a boundary to stay east of the Appalachian Mountains. The boundary for the English was so they could ease tension with the Natives after the French and Indian war. Then the English started the Pontiac's Rebellion which killed many Natives and got them to the Illinois and Virginia Country which ended the Proclamation of 1763.
  • The Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act
    The Sugar Act was an act to stop people from smuggling sugar and molasses. Later started protests. The Sugar Act helped the British with the smuggling problem and they kept it.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament and helped fund the Seven Years' War. The Stamp act taxed all printed items. The Tax Commissioners later threatened to quit their jobs in fear, they didn't get much money out of it so they ended it.
  • The Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre
    An anti-British mob started to through rocks at the British soldiers and the British soldiers opened fire and killed 5 people and wounded 8 people. The colonists spread the news if the British were the enemy, and the British spread the news if the colonists were the enemy. This later was a key event to the Revolution.
  • The Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party
    The Boston Tea Party was a political protest that had the colonists pour 342 chests of imported tea onto their harbor. This was a result of the British overtaxing. Later ended up in the British passed the Tea Act to tax the tea that is being imported.
  • The Intolerable Acts

    The Intolerable Acts
    There were four Intolerable Acts, the Boston Port Act, the Massachusetts Government Act, the Administration of Justice Act, and the Quartering Act. The Quebec Act. All of the acts help make a Royal Navy blockade of the Boston Harbor. The colonists did not like it and this started the Revolutionary War.
