Parliament passes the Quartering Act, outlining the locations and conditions in which British soldiers are to find room and board in the American colonies. People had to house soldiers in their homes. -
Boston Massacre

Resulted in 5 killed. Used as propaganda to increase hatred of British soldiers. -
Tea Act
The act lowered price of tea but required colonists to buy it from the East India Company. -

3 Ships were anchored in Boston Harbor and people were ordered by governor to unload cargo of tea. Patriots dressed as Native Americans boarded the ships & threw 90,000 lbs. of tea overboard -
Quebec Act
The Quebec Act extended the boundaries of Quebec west to the Mississippi, north to Hudson's Bay territory, and the islands in the mouth of the St. Lawrence river and guaranteed religious freedom to Catholic Canadians.
