The Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 was when England started to govern and claim the colonies as their own. The Proclamationoffended and did not honor the colonist's rights and agreement with the british to let them have that land. -
The sugar act
The sugar act restricted all availabilities to smuggle any goods with iron, lumber, or other exported goods and would be checked over by the British. The colonists were stopped for smuggling their sugar bc of how expensive it was. -
The stamp act
The stamp act was an act that made the colonists pay extra for documents the paper and more. The stamp act was an act that is used today and is talked about more in our history classes today. -
Quartering act
The British made the colonists let the British soldiers in their house and provide them with food. -
Tea act
To make sure that only Englands tea was being sold and being used in the colonies and were catching smugglers. -
The Intolerable acts
Four acts that had England Stripped Massachusetts of self-government and judicial independence following the Boston Tea Party. -
Declaratory Act
The rebellion of the stamp act and the lessening of the sugar.
