This book jumps into Katniss' life after the hunger games. She now is well fed and has money at her despense, but shes not happy. The Capitol is after her so she has to make the romance between her Peeta seem like they really are star crossed lover or he will kill Gale and maybe more people. The districts are starting an uprising and district 12 hasn't done anything so far, but its changing. New peacekeepers are brought in and they are becoming very strict on how the citizens must live. On top of this happening Katniss has her wedding being planned for her and she just got news that shes going back in the arena. This time shes determined to keep Peeta alive, risking her life so he can live. Fiction: 106-188. Total (1409) -

Peeta and Katniss are back in the Captiol and this time they are making a bigger impression then the last time. No more girly stuff, they are being fierce. The night before the games start Peeta tells the Capitol that Katniss is pregnet, this made the people in the Capitol riot, but they are still sent into the arena. Fiction: pages 188-290. Katniss and Peeta have made allies with some of the other tributes, they are getting past all of the things the game makers are throwing at them, and for the most part getting along with each other. Katniss finally feels something for Peeta, but she knows only one person will make it out of the games and it has to be Peeta. When she was fighting for her life she decided that the Capitol really was the enemy, not the other tributes so she shoots the force feild around the arena and thens wakes up on her way to Dristrict 13 in a hoovercraft. The uprising is in full force and she doesn't know where Peeta is, all she does know is she is the symbol for thisd uprising. Pages 340-391 Total 1691
