Since De Vaca never heard of The 7 Cities of Gold, neither did anyone prior to the past. So, Fray Marcos and Estaban were never sent to explore the land.

    Coronado's Canceled Expedition
Originally, when Fray Marcos went back to Spain after he saw The 7 Cities of Gold, Coronado went to find it. However, because Fray Marcos didn't see the Seven Cities of Gold because the voyage was canceled, Coronado never went to Texas, leading to people not going to Texas soon after.
  • Native Americans, Explorers, and Taken Land

Native Americans, Explorers, and Taken Land
The Native Americans are now much larger, stronger, have a bigger population, and have greater abilities. This is very unfortunate to new and uneducated explorers, as they have no idea what the now, more advantaged Indians are like. So, for a while, the Indians took over Texas. However, later in the future, now that explorers have a slight idea of what they're dealing with, they reason with the Native Americans, and we become acquaintances.

    As of Today...
As of today, there still are some explorers who live here, however, the Native Americans are not giving uo their land that theysay they "claimed". We both are still acquaintances, it's just that the Native American culture is more spread out and stronger than the voyagers.
