My bestfriend
When I met Susu, I considered her the girl who took all the attention away from me. She was the second born child, so I had to share the attention. I didn't expect her to be my best friend, but I couldn't imagine living without her. -
Moody's birth!!
My first and only brother was born on the same exact day as me, six years later. -
Understanding
Growing up, I moved around a lot. I have lived in five different neighborhoods and have been to seven different schools. I always cooperated with my parents because they were the reason why I was always moving around. I understood why they were doing what they were doing. -
Social Responsibility
I love to recycle. We had a huge family gathering at my house and they bought a bunch of pizza and take out. It was all recyclable, so I told all the little kids to take the boxes and put them in the blue recycling bin. I hope they do the same in the future. -
Thoughtful
Growing up, I was taught to help out the less fortunate. I was with my dad at a street light around Chicago Avenue when an old woman approached us. She was wearing torn up clothes and asked if we could get her something to eat. We went to McDonald's, got her a meal, and went back to give her the food. -
Forgiving
There was a girl who used to be a very close friend of mine, until I found out what she was saying behind my back. I confronted her and then stopped talking to her. She eventually came and apologized and told me she still wanted to be friends. I forgave her but never forgot. -
Leader
I have great leadership skills and use them to my advantage. My sister wanted me to help her and her friends out with a project. There was four girls, including her. So, we went to Micheal's and got them all situated with a new game plan and good materials. They got an A on the project. -
Graduation
I graduated from Prussing Elementary after being there for one year. -
Achiever
I wanted to loose weight, so I made a list, ate right, and exercised everyday for three full months. I lost weight and didn't let anyone stop me, even though my family told me I would gain it all back and more because it was very strict and messed with my health. -
Freshyy
I started off highschool in Taft High School. I loved it and felt so "grown up". I had a good chunk of family and friends here to help me out with anything. -
Highschool #2
I moved to Ridgewood High School because my dad bought a house and we were gonna move there. I knew some people from over there because I went to the elementary school before moving again. It wasn't terrible, but I missed Taft. -
Reflective
When I made my family tree during freshman year, I spent a lot of money at Micheal's and a lot of time before handing it in. I didn't get the grade I thought I deserved, so I went home and reflected about it. I realized that I missed some important facts and didn't meet all the requirements. -
Open-Minded
My father and sister got into a huge argument about something my sister did. I love my sister, but what she did was wrong. I loved my father, but she did what she did because his rules pushed her to her limit. I came in and solved the problem with my unbiased opinion. I understood their points and views and came up with a solution for everyone. -
CALI!!
The first time I went on a plane was when my family went out to California during summer 2016. -
Supportive
My best friend's boyfriend broke up with her. He was a terrible person and broke her heart. I was there right after it happened and I helped her get though it. -
Road Tripppp
My siblings and I went on a five and a half hour long car ride to Dear-born Michigan with my dad because he had some business over there and we decided to make it a family thing. -
Mommy's Graduation
My mother got married when she was young. She's been taking care of her kids and going through a lot of hardships ever since she was 20. She finally did something for herself and went back to school. She got her medical assistant degree and got started with work. -
Knowledgeable
Taking an AP Physcology class is a lot of work. But, I am learning more and more about people's behaviors and why we do what we do. Reading about feelings, depression, happiness, and curiosity are very interesting to me. I like to apply what I learned and use it in my daily life now. -
RIP <3
My grandfather passed away unexpected. My mother was in shock, and I didn't know how to act. I think about him everyday.
