January 7, 2012 is the day I brang Blue Ivy Carter into the world. Some people wonder why I named her Blue Ivy. My husband Jay-Z has named three of his album's "Blueprint" so that is where "Blue" comes from. Ivy comes from the roman numeral IV meaning 4. Both my & my husband's birthday is on the fourth day of September & December and we were married on 4/4. -
Educational Background
I started out in Parker Elementary School. But then when I went to St. Mary's Elementary School I really started to begin my love for the arts. I took jazz and tap dance classes there. I then went onto high school at Alief Elsik High School and then onto High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. By that time I had already started Destiny's Child so I couldn't attend college. But ever since, I haven't been out of work so I haven't needed to go to college! -
Family Life
My parents, Matthew and Celestine Ann, have always been very supportive of me. Along with them, by baby sister Solange has always been there for me through thick & thin. My husband Jay-Z is also and has always been one of my number one fans. I love my family and I don't know where I'd be without them.
