Hitler was sentenced to five years in prision. Hitler's Nazi Party lead the "Beer Hall Putsch." It was their first attempt at seizing the German government.

President Hindenburg died on this day and Hitler becomes both chancellor and president. He was elected with 90% majority of votes and he became a dictator.
