Best of me in the future

  • Period: to

    In five years time

In 5 years I think I will be in my second year of a post secondary institution. I believe I want to take another year in high school or take a year off before going into a post secondary institute. This will give me a great opportunity to explore more of my strengths and find the best school and program for me. Based on my strengths and interests, in five years I see myself at Ryerson University's interior design course. This will be a good course for me because I like drawing and being creative
  • Period: to

    In ten years time

In ten years I will have been finished my interior design program for two years. Once I have completed the program, I would have different options. Option one- join an interior design company and start on jobs. Option two- work independently and start getting jobs. Option three- use the interior design degree for another job such as set designer. The final option being that I decided I really didn't want to do anything design related, and I decided that I wanted to switch career fields.

    In fifteen years time

Under the assumption that I'm still an interior designer, I would be continuing to get jobs and design spaces for clients. If I had switched to another profession using the interior design degree, it would be likely that I would still be doing that. If I had switched career paths completely, I have no idea what I would have ended up doing, I can assume though based on my interests and skills that I would be involved with a job in with the trades or a hands on job for example cooking or baking.
  • Period: to

    In twenty years time

In twenty years I have three options that I can think of. The first being that I love my original career pathway and that I couldn't imagine another job I would rather be doing. Option two being that I'm happy with another job that I've found after diverting from my original career pathway. The third and final option being that I would hate the job I'm in and would be in the process of trying to find another job that I would enjoy and my skills would be much more suited for.
