Korinna feels worried and "sick" about figuring out about the Jews behind her wall and her mother is worried that Korinna will act suspicious at the meeting and school with how new the topic was. -
Rita becomes suspicious and starts questioning Korinna
Korinna starts wanting to skip more Jungmadel meetings and keeps trying to make excuses for her and Rita to not hang out. So Rita starts questioning her about why she didn't want to go to meeting and hang out and Korinna became nervous. -
Korinna gets slapped by her Jungmadel leader
Korinna gets worried that everyone will become suspicious if she keeps skipping Jungmadel meeting so she goes and forgets the Jungmadel salute and does it wrong. The leader pulled Korinna to the front and slapped her right on the cheek and Korinna ran away in embarrassment. -
Korinna becomes friends Rachel (the hiding jew)
Korinna gets to know the little girl named Rachel and they start to color pictures together when Korinna gets home from school and their friendship slowly grows. -

Rita found Korinna's secret notebook which has a very suspicious note inside that reads "My parents are traitors" which lead Rita asking lots of questions. -
The Gestapo officers do a brief search in Korinna's house
The Gestapo officers are ordered to go through everybody's house searching for anything suspicious but with the wardrobe seeming to be nailed to the wall, they found nothing. -
The Rehm's leave their hometown
The Rehm family decided to leave their hometown to get away from any people that found them suspicious. -
Anne Frank hides
Anne Frank, her family, and some friends realize that they are being targeted so they go into hiding. -
German and Italian troops surrender
German and Italian troops surrender to allies during World War II. -
Anne Frank is captured
Anne Frank gets captured with everyone that was hiding with her and is sent to a Nazi Death camp. -
Hitler dies
Hitler commits suicide after being Fuhrer of Nazi, Germany for about ten years. -
Anne Frank dies
Anne Frank got Typhus while at the camp and died soon after. -
World War II ends
After almost exactly 6 years of war, World War II ends. -
The Krugman's (the jews) leave to another destination
Rita and the Gestapo officers are more suspicious and are looking to find something in the Rehm's house that have to do with the Jews. So, Rachel and Sophie left to another, more safe, place to stay.
