Talking-Vocalizes mostly vowels, but cooing becomes a little more sophisticated.
Walking- Can do mini-pushups to build arm muscles -
6-8 months
Eating Starts eating solid food, still needs breast milk. Can start practicing drinking skills and hand-to-mouth coordination
Talking- Pretends to have conversations with you, babbles and vowels sounds can be heard. Expressions when sad, angry, mad, etc.
Walking- Bounces up and down. -
8-10 months
Eating- Drinking and chewing abilities improve. Begins rotary chewing Can use his thumb and index finger to pick up small pieces of food.
Talking- Can say ma-ma or bah-bah. Expressions stay the same. -
10-12 months
starts self-feeding, uses lips to help coax food off spoon, child can sit up for an extended period on their own.
Talking- Tries to be more social can say small words like "hi" and "bye"
Walking- learns to sit, learns to crawl and stand up with help and balance. May take their firsts step then.
