    The Kansas Nebreska Act
    Ten states were created by this act. Tension rose due to the Missouri Compromise not alowing states to become slave states past a certian border.
  • Bleeding Kansas

    Bleeding Kansas
    Due to popular sovereignty the states could choose whether they would be slave or non. When Kansas was created pro and anti slave people rushed to the new state. A radical abolitionists named John would ingite a bloody battle after killing pro slavery people in thier own houses.

    The Supreme Court decied that any black man is not an American citizen. There for can not sue in federal court.

    Lincoln and Douglass would have debates for Illnois seat in the Senate. Lincoln would go on to loose the campaign.

    Gettysburg, Pennslyvania would witness the wrost battle of the war. A staggering 51,000 soldiers were either killed or wounded. On November 19, 1863 President Lincoln would adress the battle. Giving one of the most memorbale speeches in Unted Staes history.
