The Sharpeville Massacre
5,000-7,000 people gathered at the police station, in order to offer themselves up for not carrying their passbooks. The police were overwhelmed and open fired into the crowd, killing 69 people. It is conterversial whether the crowd prokoved the shooting or not. -

F.W. Klerk repealed Apartheid laws and later stopped funding and destroyed the nuclear weapons program -
Presentation to Nelson Mandela
17 commissioners presented the Apartheid ´facts´ totalling over 21,000 victims and destroyed all documents. All perptrators names were given at this point
