I take a taxi to Champ de Mars park at 7:00 AM ($30) and arrive at 7:30 AM and play traditional children's game escargot for 1 hour. I then take a taxi to hotel ($30) and arrive at 9:00 AM. I take 9:15 AM shuttle to CDG and arrive at 9:20 AM. -

i Tre Mercanti srl Trip
From the VCE, i take a taxi to i Tre Mercanti srl ($8) and arrive at 12:10 PM. I eat traditional, Italian dessert tiramisu and walk around area near shop and tour Venice, Italy and talk with locals for 2 hours. Escargot Culture
A part of French CULTURE (the sum total of the knowlage, attitudes, and habital behavior problems pattterns shared and transmitted by the members of a society) is to play escargot. Escargot is children's hopscotch. Any GENDER (social differences between men and women rather than anatomical biological differences between the sexes) can play and it is apart of French FOLK CULTURE (cultural traits such as dress modes, traditions, etc., and are institutions of usually small, traditional places. -
Tiramisu History
Tiramisu means "pick me up" in Italian. It's also called Tuscan Trifle. The dessert's HEARTH (the area where an idea or cultural trait originates) is in Italy. The dessert is apart of POPULAR CULTURE (cultural traits that are apart of today's changable, urban-based, media-influenced western societies) and is an AUTHENTIC (the accuracy with which a single sterotypical image or expierence conveys an otherwise dynamic or complex local culture or its customs) dessert. -
Arrive at DEL
I arrive at DEL at 10:15 AM on Jan. 4 and wait to depart to Kathmandu, Nepal. The flight to Kathmandu does not depart until January 5, so I wait at airport all day and rest from traveling. -
Harati Devi Temple Prayer
I depart KTM to Harati Devi Temple in Swayambhunath Stupa Temple. It's 9m ($9 taxi fee) and 18 min. away. I arrive at 9:20 AM and pray for 5 hours until 2:20 PM and then take a taxi to Thamel House Resteraunt (10 min., 2m away, $2 taxi fee.) -

I arrive at Thamel House Resteraunt from taxi at 2:30 PM and eat traditional Nepal food for 1 hr and spend $20. I then take a taxi to the KTM airport (3m away, $3 taxi fee) and arrive at 3:42 PM. -
Flight to Morocco
I leave KTM at 4:40 PM to AUH airport on flight A320 and arrive at 8:20 PM. I sleep at airport (layover) for 6 hours. I depart AUH at 2:10 AM (Jan. 6) and arrive at CMN at 7:20 AM (slept on the plane.) I eat $10 breakfast during layover. I depart CMN at 11 AM and arrive at RAK, Marrakesh, Morocco at 11:40 AM. I spent $857.39 on ticket and total time is 24 hours and 45 minutes. -

Nepal Challange Explained
BUDDHISM (religion characterized by the belief that enlightment would come through knowlage, elimation of greed, craving, and desire, complete honesty, and never hurting another person or animal) is a major UNIVERSALIZING RELIGION (a belief system that espouses the idea that there is one true religon that is univeral in scope) in Nepal. People pray for hours at the temples in Nepal, which is what I decided to do to expierence the Nepal CULTURE (already defined in previous timeline.) -
Menara Gardens Trip
From RAK airport, I take a taxi to Menara Gardens (3m, 13 mins. away and spend $3 on fee.) I arrive at 11:53 AM. I then learn the traditional Guedra dance for 3 hours and perform the dance with locals at 2:53 PM. I drive back via taxi to RAK (another 3m, 13 min. ride, $3 fee) and arrive at 3:06 PM. -

I depart RAK to take flight 740 at 3:20 PM and arrive at ORY airport at 7:25 PM. The layover is 15 hours and 15 minutes. I sleep for 6 hours and wake up at 2:25 PM to get a $20 meal at airport. Guedra Dance Explained
In Morrocan CULTURE (the sum total of the knowlage, attitudes, and habital behavior problems pattterns shared and transmitted by the members of a society,) this dance is a CUSTOM (practice routinely followed by a group of people) of women and a part of their NON-MATERIAL CULTURE (the belief, practices, aesthics, and values of a group of people.) Women must dress in blue and only women may perform this dance. Usually a blessing for friends/married people/to the community or religious ritual. -
