Henry VII becomes king and end bands private armies and adds huge taxes to raise government funds which backfired and the people revolted -

Thomas more says that criticize the king should be allowed in parliament and other people start to develop the idea that power should lay with parliament not the king. -
Charles II + Civil Wars
Parliament is fed up with Charles II and leads to two civil wars. Charles flees to France but it executed when he is caught, and his son takes charge -
George III
Property rich but cash poor leads him to hand all his property to the government in exchange for an allowance for him and other royals. The king no longer has control over anything, and this lasted until the 1990 when it ended
