I had to get most of my small intestine cut out.
Just days after I was born the doctors had found out that I had an infected intestine. The major problem with this is they couldn't fix it so they said I would die soon. But on one day a doctor figured out that he could just remove the infected part of my intestine and it would fix the problem. This changed me because I now know that I am very fortunate to have survived and when I get older I want to help others survive things like this. -
The day I moved to Hawaii.
The day I moved to Hawaii was quite the culture shock because I was so used to living in Colorado. Living in Hawaii changed my life because it opened me up to a bunch of different cultures and people.
I believe that this shaped me into who I am today because I am now used to different kinds of people and places. -
Moving to Texas.
I moved to Texas a few years ago with my family because my dad was stationed there. Moving to Texas changed me because now I know how to handle a situation that involves danger, such as a snake or scorpion gets in your room. so I became more alert of my surroundings. This was an impotent time for me because I got to see a new place and I also learned that anyone can become anything if they put in hard work from my Sunday school teacher. Because of that I want to become a psychiatrist. -
Moving back to Arkansas.
Moving back to Arkansas has changed me because I am now here with all of my family and I can see them more often then I used to.
I am now able to live in one place instead of moving every three years so that has impacted me because I just want to settle down somewhere and not move for a while. -
Going to public school for the first time.
Going to public school for the first time was really odd for me since I was homeschooled for 12 years. Coming to Arkadelphia schools has impacted me in many ways. One of which was my ability to make new friends, before school I never liked talking to people it was always so hard to much less make any friends.
