  • Albany Congress

    Albany Congress
    This was a meeting for which seven of the thirteen colonies sent a representative to attend. Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island were the 7 colonies that went ot this certain meeting.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    This was a tax for which all the colonial people had to pay for every printed paper they owned or had, as well as bills of sale, contracts, wills, advertising, pamphlets, almanacs, and even playing cards and dice. -i got my resource of what things were taxed from google.com
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    This originally the colonist harrassing some of the British officers leading towards the end to a massacre. They were throwing mob, throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks to the troops. It all started to go wrong when someone set off a shot and everyone took it in a negative way. . At the end five colonial people ended up dead from this and all the colonies acted up from anger.
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    This was a tax to where the colonist had to pay taxes on tea. The colonists were not happy at all to pay taxes without representation just like they were unhappy about the stamp act they wanted it removed. This thought would not happen for the British wont be bullied by the colinists no more. As google states it, this ignited some "powder keg" which resulted into the Boston Tea Party.

    In result from the Tea Act, the colonist revolted and decided to have no more of this. They took action and attack three British ships which were harbored.
