    The Stamp Act was also an extra tax for increased revenue. It affected legal documents, newspapers, and advertisements. The British Government actually ends the tax after enough uproar.

    A series of additional taxes with 4 acts passed. They included the suspending act with stopped New York from conducting business until they comply with the Quartering Act. The Revenue act imposed direct revenue duties and the Indemnity act was created to stop the smugging of Dutch tea.

    On the morning of April 18, 1755, Paul Revere rides to Lexington to warn that the British are coming. The first response only had 77-minute men to the 700 men of the British, but they were able to repel after they had a lot more minute men.

    The Peace of Paris was signed the war is brought to an end. The British empire recognized the independence of the Colonies and are given boundaries to the Mississippi river.

They were tasked to find a route that would connect the East with the West before European powers would start to claim the territory as theirs. They study the flora and fauna of the area

    Series of forced displacements of approximately 60,000 Native Americans. They were forced to give up their customs and traditions and assimilation was the key goal of this operation. Thousands died from disease before reaching their destinations.
