Settlers that were forbid advanced beyond the Appalachian Mts. They allowed England control the westward expansion.As a result this failed and it allowed settlers to move across the boundary and claim lands. -

Merchants and Lawyers were required to buy stamps for legal documents and paper for the ships. This made the colonist mad, this was a way to raise money. -
Boston Massacre
Boston Massacre was a deadly riot that was on King Street in Boston. At first it was a street fight but then sooner or later it became a manslaughter.The Boston Massacre killed 5 colonist. The aftermath was that it had an major impact. -

The committees of Correspondence were maintaining communication lines, was the Americans Colonist first institution for having communication with one another. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was a political protest, this happened because the American Colonist was angry and frustrated at the British for imposing taxes on them so in return they dumped 342 chests of tea into the harbor. The Boston Tea Party was started by the Sons of Liberty. -

Laws passed by the British after the Boston Tea party. These laws were meant to punish the colonist after their reaction to the raise in taxation -
Bunker Hill
The British won tactical victory but the American won strategic victory. The battle of bunker hill was the bloodiest war, more than 1,000 British soldiers and 400 American soldiers were wounded or killed. Bunker hill flag was one of the first American flag to have a pine tree. -

British marched to Boston and took many weapons. Also known as “shot heard around the world” -

The continental Army decided to divide so they would have a better chance to defeat the british. -
Yorktown
Where the British surrender to the Americans under the orders of Washington. -
Treaty of Paris 1783
Signed in Paris and this Treaty meant an end to the American Revolutionary war.
