  • Sugar Act

    The Sugar and Molasses act was about to expire, so they renewed it and reduced the price to 3 pence a gallon, but it was enforced more strictly.

    The Currency Act is the name of the act that gave the colonies paper money because Great Britain did not lilke their currency.

    The Stamp Act required the colonies to pay a tax for every printed piece of paper.

    The Quartering Act forced colonists to house british solers nd whatever accomodies they reuired.

    The Declatpry Act states that all plantations in America are owned byhis majesty and great britain.

  • The Townshend Revenue Act

    This Act wanted the colonists to pay for the governors salaries. People did not ike this act and this lead later on to the Boston Massacre.

  • Boston Non-Importation Agreement.

    This was an agreement made by the colonists to not import and buy goods from Great Britain.

    The Boston Massacre was a street fight between patriots and recoats. The patriots threw sticks and snowballs and the British responded by opening fire.

    William Duddington of the royal navy was illegally seizing goods, and a group of 55 patriotsattacked his beached ship.

    The East India tea company had 18 million pounds of unsold tea, which they sold to Great Britain. The British then sent it to the clonies to sell and undercut tea merchants who were already there.
