    Divide class into 4 teams: telephone, steel, railroad, and oil and have them research primary sources provided for each category.

    Provide students with instructions for prentation due at end of week.
  • Day 2 Activity

    Give each group an investigative question for their topic and have discuss what form their final presentation will take. Have each group assign each member a role.

    Demonstrate research methods used. Allow students time to research their topic and gather sources individually. Allow students time to come back together as a group and share their findings.

    Each group will present their findings on their topic. After all presentations are done, teacher will lead students on a discussion about each groups findings. The day will conclude with a kahoots game with different questions on each topic.
