    This was important because people could finally talk without having to be face to face.

    Invented by Karl Benz
    He is the creator of Mercedes Benz.
  • The great Migration

    1910-1930
    Thie event is significate because alot of the military men lost their jobs when they came back from WWI and caused racism.
  • Emergency Quota Act

    A.K.A the emergency immigration act, this is important to history because this is the time that they decided to limit the amount of immigration.
    357,802 immigrants will be able to come annually.
    1921-1924 and it was passed.
  • Television

    Invented by J.L Baird.
    The broadcasting of T.V pictures didnt appear until 1935.
    T.V was an important invention because it helped spread propaganda at certain points, people could now get paid to be seen on T.V so it also gave a job opportunity.
  • Black tuesday

    concidered the beginging of the tumultous time period in the stock market's history leading up to the great depression.
  • Black thursday

    Begining of one of the stock market crashes.
  • Hoover Dam

    They constructed the hoover dam in 1931 and finished in 1936, when Roosevelt was president
  • Roosevelt elected

    Roosevelt was elected and started the new deal.
  • 1933 state of economy

    This was the day that Roosevelt declared to close down the banks for a "3-day holiday" because the banks couldnt keep up with all the withdrawals and transactions being made.
  • GI bill of rights

    A law that provided benefits for returning WWII veterans. Such as low mortgage, low interest loans, and even things like one year unemployment compensation.
  • Frisbee invented

    Technically the frisbee was invented in 1871 when a student realized a pie pan could be tossed and caught, but in 1948 was when they made the plastic version of the frisbee.
