Indian Removal Act (with description)
This was an act signed by Andrew Jackson that required Native Americans to move from east of the Mississippi River. Many tribes left peacfully, however there were several that resisted and were forcibly moved west during the winter of 1830-1839 on a mach referred to as the "Trail of Tears." This affected America greatly as over 4000 Natives died and all of them lost their homes. -

People were not going out to eat and as breweries and liquor stores closed, countless Americans were left unemployed. -

The Civil Rights Movement in America was Jumpstarted by the case Brown vs. The Board of Education in which a black man won. It was followed by marches and protests by millions of Americans. The United States was greatly impacted by this event as African Americans finally began to get the rights they deserve, chaning daily life for all Americans. This movement also jumpstarted women's sufferage and other movements for minorities like Latin Americans. -
