    French and indian war
    During the French and Indian war, the british fought along side the colonists. The british wanted to claim land such as the ohio river valley. Ohio river valley was a "Gold Mine" For beaver pelts. Which they were very expensive back then. The Indians sided with the french. The british won the war, but the war costed a lot of money. Which send britian in debt.
  • Proclamation

    Proclamation
    Once the French and Indian war was finished and won, the King of Britain wrote a proclamation. In the proclamation it said, That the colonist (Settlements) Could not move west. It couldn't move past the appalachean mountains. Which made most of the colonist very mad. Mainly because ohio river valley was west and that was a really good expensive pelts.

    The sugar act was sort of like a law. Whenever sugar would come in and sold it would have a certain tax on the item. Most of these act's were created due to the loss of money during the french and indian war.

    The stamp act was another act or law that was put in place by the king of britain. Mainly on paper, newspapers, letters, all many items such in those catagories. It would have a certain tax on the item.
  • Quatering Act

    Quatering Act
    The Quatering act put in place that the colonist would have to FEED AND HOUSE the british soldiers. It was crazy, it mainly in place because the british were away from home and it could help out the soldiers. It also made the british spend less money on for THEM to house to soldiers.
  • Townshend Acts

    Townshend Acts
    The british kept on pushing taxes onto them and harder. The king put a tax on glass, tea, paper, etc. The colonist were really mad and this was the start of the rebellion.
  • BOSTON MASSACRE

    BOSTON MASSACRE
    The boston massacre was a horrible moment for the colonists. The Boston massacre was when the british soldiers fire opon a open group of unarmed civilians. Both sides say it was the other people, but I think its actually the british who started it. The soldiers fired at a group of people and many were wounded and some were dead.
