Swiss Confederation
The Swiss Confederation was founded. This created a permenant alliance with Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden. This alliance will then be used later in the world wars. -

Swiss Independence
The Swiss confederation takes down the Hasburg Empire during the Swabian War. -
French Revalution
Began in 1789 and ended 1999. In which the monarcy was overthrown. -
Indendpence
Gained its indepence during the France Revolution when bastille was stormed. Bastille was a famous prison where political prisoners were held. -
Braille system
Louis Braille created the braille system. A way to read and write. -
Monaco independence
The Grimaldi family first got control of what is now Monaco in 1297, but they did not permantely secure their holding until 1419. Monaco remained a protectorate until 1860 when Monaco was ceded to France. -
Monacos Economy
Monacos economy boomed after the opening of its first casino and a railway connection to Paris. Since the casino, Monaco is a world famous tourist and recreation center. -
Liechtenstein independence
Throughout the year of 1866 Leichtenstein gained it's independence from the German Confederation. This also caused their independence from the Holy Roman Empire. Resulting from their complete independence they no longer owed any dues to any outside force. -
Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand
Initiated by leading Austrian politicians and generals to convinse the emperor of Austria to declare war on Serbia. This led to the start and motivation of World War 1 and the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire -
Frances involement
France was involved in War World 1 due to the prior treaty with Russia due to this and France being allies with Russia they felt obligated to join in. -
Slovenia Settlers
The Sloveres were a south slavic group that settled in the region. Slovenia formally formed a new nation called the kingdom of the serbs, croats, and sloveres in 1918. But the name was later changed to Yugoslavia. -
Nuremburg Laws
Antisemitic laws in Nazi Germany. Classified people as "German" or "kindered blood." All non Jewish white Europeans were classified as Aryrans. Sexual relations between "Aryrans" and "Non-Arryrans" were not allowed. -
Kristallnacht
"Night of Broken Glass"
A series of attacks against Jews throughout Nazi Germany. Windows were smashed at Jewish-owned stores. German authorities looked on without intervening. -
Liechtenstein WWII
During World War II Liechtenstein stayed neutral. This ruined the ties they had with the Austrian Empire. This made Liechtenstein very unstable and very financial needs after the war. -
Germany Invades Poland Starting WWII
The attacks came without warning. German forces flew planes and came by land with tanks and infantry. The German planes bombed Polish cities with Flammable bombs, including Polands capital. -
Wannsee Conference
15 high-ranking Nazi Party and German government officials gathered at a villa in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee to discuss and coordinate the implementation of what they called the "Final Solution of the Jewish Question." The "Final Solution" was the code name for the systematic, deliberate, physical annihilation of the European Jews. -

Fall of Berlin Wall
At midnight the eastern communist ruler gave permission for gates along the wall to be opened after hundreds of people coverged on the crossing point. Ecstatic crowds immediately began to hammer down on the wall and hacked large chunks out.
