THE ARRIVAL TO THE NEW WORLD
A group of 102 pilgrims sailed from England to America , "the New World" , on the ship the Mayflower.
It was a journey with many difficulties for 65 days but the pilgrims decided to continue. -
MAINLAND
The pilgrims arrive to the mainland building a village, a house and a piece of land for each family,45 people died due to the low temperatures. -
UNION BETWEEN RACES
The pilgrims met a Native Americans for the first time and he introduced them to his tribe and teaches them how to grow vegetables. -
THE NEW WORLD GROWS
France and Spain also owned big areas of land in North America and wanted to influence the New World , too. -
THE COLONIES COME TOGETHER
The British win the war and get some French territories.Not satisfied they declare war on 13 colonies that decide to unite to fight against the British to avoid paying taxes. -
THE NEW NATION
After a very difficult battles the colonists led by Geroge Washington defeat the British, calling their new nation the United States of America. -
THE COUNTRY GROWS
Emperor Napoleon sells land for 15 million, accepting the offer from the United States. This purchase doubled the size of the country that stretched from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. -
THE PATH OF TEARS
The native population began to suffer due to the extension of the new world.Around 4000 Cherokee people left their homes and died on the way to their new territory. -
POWERS DIFFERENCES
The north and south of the US have differences of powers and the north wants to abolish slavery. The president is now Lincoln and wants to keep the country united even if he does not like slavery. -
ATTACK THE STRONG
The south now has 11 states. They think they are a different nation from the union in the north. Soldiers attack the fort. -
PAIN IN THE WAR
The people of the north and the south are suffering a lot. The war has to end and the south is losing because they have fewer soldiers. -
THE END OF THE WAR
Robert E. Lee submits to the general grant. It is the end of the war but many people have died.
