    French Indian war was the start of it all. It was the original twigs to the fire to start it. The french and biriths fought for 7 years over america's trade routes. IN the end the british won but forbid their settlers from expanding westward. This did not sit well with the settlers.

    Proclamation Line
    The proclamation line was formed. The proclamation line was a natural boundary line (appalachian moutains). This stopped the settlers from moving westward and expanding. This angered the setllers.

    The sugar act was put in place stating that any sugar based substance including sugar was to be taxed. This angered the citizens even more because they used sugar for everything. The writs of assitance aloud them to search private ships and other vessels for stolen goods without a warrnt. This angered the citizens to were they started rioting and taring the soldiers and tac collectors

    This act stated that you hadx to house, and feed the british soldiers wthout question. citizens found this as an act of their violation. They started rioting and formaing small pockets of resistance.

    After a few years of resistance and milita going against the government, the british were place outside the cutoms house, and after some agressive negotiations the british shot 6 civilians. This basicvally poured gasoline on the fire that was already going up.

    After the tea tax was put in place the people were getting very upset, so they decided to through all the imported tea overboard a british ship in the boston harbor.

    The british marched from the shore to lexington where a group of rebels met them and fired upon them. "The shot heard round the world" was the reson the war started. As the militia dissapeared and the british marched towards concord, thye were continued to be fired upon. This is a.lso the time were paul reveres famous ride took place
