ACSA 2013...
ACSA celebrated its 40-year anniversary last year. Membership is approximatley 15,000 and again on an increasing trajectory. ACSA is embarking upon strategic planning to reconceptualize its identity as a 21st century professional membership organization. The ACSA Board of Directors adopts a bold new Strategic Plan for the 21st Century and prioritizes the Action Plans that have been developed to actualize the new mission of the organization.The Plan includes 9 key strategies one of which is "using transformational tecnhonolgies in all aspects of our work." -
ACSA Social Media...
ACSA routinely uses social media (Facebook, Twiitter, On-line Community, etc.) to actively engage members in real-time regarding professional learning, advocacy, region business/needs, membership services, etc. Customized apps are navailable for specific ACSA events and services. -
ACSA AMS...
ACSA launches a new Association Management System (AMS). New features include on-demand membership information/queries/updating accessible by members/charters/regions, links to online registration for all ACSA events, and a cummulative record of all ACSA events for which each member has registered. Information from the AMS can readily be used for marketing furture events, engaging members in advocacy, etc. -
ACSA Professional Learning
ACSA routinely employs an array of virtual meeting and professional learning platforms including webinars, online face to face meetings, cloud platforms for collaboration and project/product development, and professional learning via online and blended learning technologies. -

95% of current school administrators in CA belong to ACSA. 80% of retired members retain membership and 80% of aspiring administrators become members. ACSA infrasturcture employs 21st Century tools to connect and actively involve members with services, resources, professional learning, netoworking and advocacy to cultivate and advance their leadership in the service of CA's students.
