Early Months of 1810, Initiation
In around February 8 1810 a group known as the ¨literary group¨ was planning the independence movement. That group consisted of Miguel Hidalgo, Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, Ignacio Allende, Miguel Dominguez and some other… This would be considered the Initiation stage of the Independence. -
DISCOVERED
Mariano Galvan reveals the ideas of the Independence to Spanish authorities. After investigating Epigmenio Gonzalez house they found arms so they arrest him. Josefa sends a message via a man of her trust to communicate Hidalgo of the discovery of the Independence movement. -
El Grito
Father Miguel Hidalgo starts the road towards Mexican Indpendence by doiing ¨El Grito¨ against the Spaniards. He is in company with low class workers, Ignacio Allende and different soldiers in search for Independence. -
Battle of the Alhondiga de Granaditas
The rebels/troops of MIguel Hidalgo and Ignacio Allende won their first real battle by defeating soldiers from the Spanish Crown in the Battle of the Alhondiga de Granaditas. El Pipila, as seen on the photo, is the man that let´s the Mexican rebels into the Alhondiga de Granaditas. -
The Battle of Monte de las Cruces
In this day a very important battle took place. The Battle of Monte de las Cruces was one of the most important battles of the Mexican Independence. The Men of Hidalgo and Ignacio Allende fought against the royal troops of General Torcuato Trujillo. -
Calleja Wins! Resistance!
On January 17 1811 Hidalgo and Allende´s men fought outside of Guadalajara in the Calderon Bridge against the men of Calleja. Although there were more men in Hidalgo's army they didn't have the strategy and equipment as the men of Calleja. They lost and had to go from the battle. At around this times until the times of Morelos the Resistance period occurs. The Mexican rebel leaders and warriors need to stay strong and fight to continue for their dream towards independence. -

Morelos leads the revolution against the Spaniards after the death of Miguel Hidalgo. -
The Battle of Temalaca & Death of Morelos
The Battle of Temalaca occured on November 5, 1815 in Puebla. It was fought between the Spanish Royal Military against the Mexican Rebels. The Spaniards won, captured Morelos and later on executed him. -
Plan de Iguala! Consolidation!
The Plan de Iguala was made active and effective on this day. This would create a life of more equality for Mexicans. From a little before the Plan de Iguala to the day the Plan de Iguala was signed, It could be known to be the Consolidation stage of the Independence because the Rebel leaders were almost winning and had to be careful of their decisions so they could be victorious. -
Independence! Consolidation!
Mexico became fully independent of the Spaniards. Mexico was a free country. The Mexican Independence reaches its consolidation stage after fully achieving independence against the Spaniards.
