After he signed the Magna Carta it limited his powers, not alot, but a little to give the people hope.
It was significant because it was the first step into giving people a little more power. -

It was significant in history because it was created to house the english that escaped England, and would hopefully seek out religious freedom or a better life. -
The Boston Tea Party
It was a political protest by the sons of liberty, who some dressed up as Native Americans. They completely ruined an entire England ship of tea, they threw the tea into the boston harbor. It was significant in history because they were protecting their rights of "No taxation without representation" against the tea act which the bristish enforced on them. -
Declaration of Independence
It was a document that the Americans signed to tell the British that they wanted the 13 colonies to be united alone, to be their own nation. Some of the people who signed it were Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and John Hancock. It was significant in history because it declared American independence! -
Shay's Rebellion
It was a protest led by Daniel Shays with his 4,000 men to whine about econmic injustices during Gerorge Washingtons time. Washington wasnt having anything of it so he called the army in on them to obey his precendent(s) he set. It was significant in history because it was the first time Washington had to enforce one of the new American law. -
Louisiana Purchase
It was a treaty both French and Americans signed to obtain the Louisiana strip for $15 million. Thomas Jefferson was the one who signed the treaty, but many Americans said it was unconstutitional angering them. It was significant in History because it was the first peice of the land that expanded the U.S territory. -
Trail Of Tears
It was part of Andrew Jacksons 'Indian removal act" policy. The Cherokee were forced to give up their homes, and were forced to march to present-day Oaklahoma. It was significant in history because many people agreed with Jacksons reason, but it also gave many Americans another reason to dislike him as our president. -
Lincoln's Assassination
When John Wilkes Booth killed presiden Lincoln the whole world went mad. Not only by doing this did he ruin chances to recoonect the south with the north, he also assassinated in cold blood what the americans stood up to the most, the president. It was significant in history because it was a major out of the blue tragic ending for our 16th American president Abraham Lincoln.
