After Napoleon seized the political power in France, in 1799 de made a coup d'etat and took over power. Later in 1804, he crowned himself emperor. -
Battle of Waterloo
Finally, at the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated after having power from 1769-1821. -
The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Sophie.
They were killed in Sarajevo by Gavrilo Princip. This assassination cause WWI to break out. -
Treaty of Versailles
The Treat of Versailles was a peace settlement that ended WWI. Also this treaty put Germany in terrible conditions, which later caused WWII.
