A New Party
A new party was founded in 1920 called the German National Socalist Labor Party. The leader of this new organization was Adolf Hitler. -

Hitler thought Germans were better than all the other people in the world. He blamed the Jews in ranting speeches. All Jews were persecuted and discriminated against. -
A Day To Take More Pictures
Anne Frank was born on July 12, 1929 in Frankfur am Main, Germany. That day Otto Frank, Anne's father took pictures and started a photo album for her. -

Since Hitler was taking more and more measure against the Jews, The Frank family feared the feature and moved in with their grandmoher. -

Hitler came to power. the Nazi Party was the largest party in Germany. Hitler took over every aspect of daily life in Germany and if anyone opposed him they were beaten and imprisioned. -
Miep Gies
Miep GIes took the Frank family to the Secret Annex where they could hide. She brought them food, books, and told them what was happening in Amsterdam. -
Otto Frank
Otto Frank helped all three children that were in the Secret Annex and tested them on their lessons. None of them wanted to fall behind in their studies. -
Anne's Diary
Anne wrote about everything going on in her life to her friends or family. Since she wrote so much it helped when her diary was found. They were able to se how Jews were feeling and how hard their life was. -
The Secret Annex
The Frank family was terrified of being discovered in their new hiding place. During the daytime they had to be very cautious about being heard or spotted by the neighbors. -
Surviving The Secret Annex
The Frank family survived in the Secret Annex for more than two years. They were discovered and were taken to the German Police Station. -
The Struggle To Survive
Anne died in a concentration camp. She died a few days after her sister Margot died.
