Henry becomes King
At age 18 Henry takes power of England
He inherets the throne from his father King Henery VII.
Although Henry VIII was the second son of his father, his older brother Arthur died and left Henry VIII to be king. Henry ruled in the midst of the Reniassance a time when new ideas and ways of living were coming about. King Henry had married his dead brothers wife who was 8 years older than him. Henry decided that it was time to divorce Katheraine but the church wouldn't let him. Since Katheraine couldn't bear a male heir to the throne Henry also wanted to get a new wife so he could have a male heir. The church refused his request for a divorce and so Henry took it into his own hands and broke off from the church and created the Church of England. He then went through six wives and through misscarages and daughters he only recieved one son who died at 16 -

King Henry VIII married Catherine of Aragon on the 11fo June of 1509 at the Francican Church at Greenwich. Shortly after marriage Catherine was pregant to a stillborn daughter. On February 1516 she gave birth do a daughter named Mary, In 1533 their marriage was separated because of Henry's anger to not have an heir to the throne. -

In 1533 Anne and Henry were secretly married In august of 1533 Anne was already pregnant and she was suppossed to have a boy. Later pricess Elizabeth was born. In 1535 she became pregnant again but it was miscarried. She was later arrested in 1536 because she did not give birth to a boy. -

Act of Parliment that declared King henry VIII the only supreme head on Earth of the Church of England.
Parliment did not grant the King the title they were just recognizing it as a fact.

Jane Seymor marries Henry VIII
In 1536 Jane and Henry were married. In 1537 Jane gave birth to a boy that was named Edward. Mary the daughter of Elizabeth was the godparent of Edward. Just two weeks after the birth of Edward Jane died on October, 24 1536. -

On July, 28 1540 Henry VIII marries Kathryn Howard. This was Henry VIII fifth wife and Henry was 49 and Kathryn Howard was barely 19. There was evidence of her being promiscuous before they married and she was executed on the Tower Green on February 13, 1542 -

On July, 12 1543 Kathryn Parr married Henry VIII. This was Henry's final wife. This was a small ceremony of 20 people. Kathryn was close to all of her stepchildren and took care of them. After Henry VIII died in 1547 Kathryn secretly married a man named Thomas Seymour. Kathryn died on September, 3 1548 -

Edward succeded his father and was just 9 years old when he took the throne. He inherited his throne after his father died and was the sole heir to take power. As a leader he relied mostly on his advisors due to how young he was.

Queen Mary succeded her half brother Edward after his death. She only reinged for about five years. She was succeded by her half sister Queen Elizabeth.
She was the center of attention until her father changed wives and she lost her title as Princess and became The Lady Mary

She wanted to bring Catholism back to the Kingdom.
She had many death plots against her because she wanted to bring Catholism back to the center of England religion
