Writs of Assistance
The Writs of Assistance was first issued by English Parliment in 1660. Later on, in the 1760, the British government also adopted the Writs of Assitance. The Writs of Assistance gave general warrents that allowed officials to broad authority and search and seize colonial property. The Writs of Assistance was issued until 1819. This led to the Boston Massacre in 1770. his violated peoples property. -
Sugar Act
The Sugar Act decreased colonial smuggling in the West Indies. This act also added to the cost of sugar. This Act ended up giving British Soldies Writs of Assistance. The Sugar Act violated peoples property. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act Iposes duties on stams needed for official documents. This act made people mad. They started to protest by using boycotts and the Non-Impotation Agreement. This violates peoples liberty. -
Boston Massacre
This was a big riot between British troops and the colonists. Another name for the Boston Massacre is the Boston Riot. A fwe people died during the riot, a few people died after the riot, and several people were injured.The Boston Massacre violates life and liberty. -
Tea Act
The tea Act reasserted parliments rights to tax the colonists on tea. A lot of colonists didn't think this act was for the common good. The Tea Act led to the Boston Tea Party. The Tea Act violated peoples liberty.
