  • French and Indian War

    The French and Indian War is also known as the 7 Years War. It was between the French and Great Britian with various Native American allies. The war was fought in North America and lasted seven years. The reason this war lead to the Americans rebelling is because after the 7 years of fighting the Americans saw weakness in the British military. They saw it as a chance to strike and have a chance to win.

  • Stamp Act

    This act replaced the Sugar act. Although this replacerd the sugar act it was not as upsetting as the sugar act because it was a direct tax which is already added into the face sale number not added on when bought. This was replaced by the Declaratory act.

  • Sugar Act

    The sugar act was when the British taxed the suger indirectly. This upset the Americans greatly because nothing tasted good back then and to tax and make sugar more expensive was not good. Sugar was used as much then as it is today. This act also lead to the stamp act.

  • Troops sent in Boston as Police

    This was so bad for the British because it showed the Americns that they were doing a good job at causeing trouble for the British. This lead to the Boston Massacre which i belive lead to the real war.

  • Boston Massacre

    The boston Massacre was a big peice in history. It had a big effect on the Americans because it showed them the British werent afraid to open fire on the americans. I belive this was a big part in the war for our independence.

  • Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party was a huge thing to do with the Independence of america. In my opinion it was so big because this was a huge way to rebel against the British. they threw three ship loads of taxed tea into Boston harbor. This brought more troops over which made the americans want to rebel more.

  • Declaration of Independence

    This was the biggest thing that lead to the Revolution. When it was sent to the British it pretty much said we dont care if we all die but we are going to try and be free from you. Which lead right to the war.
