The north fought the south to free the slaves. The north won and all the slaves were free. An new amendment was added that noboby may unwillingly be a person's slave. -

World War 1 started in Europe. The Germans bombed the United States and they joined allies with France and Great Britain. The U.S. won because they had so much power. -
